Trying to make sense of it all? We understand some of this may be new to you. We'll do everything we can to help you understand how Easy Tithe is structured, and why it's this structure that makes the most impact on your bottom line.
1. The Church
In the Easy Tithe model of processing, The Church represents the congregation, its staff, and operations that are currently in place.
2. Church Bank Account
The Church Bank Account represents the primary bank checking account into which current tithing & donations are deposited into.
3. Merchant Account
The Merchant Account, much like your own personal checking account, will be a new account that your church/organization will apply for. This account will enable the bank processing of credit cards, debit cards, check cards, and online checks (optional). EVERY organization that accepts credit cards has a merchant account. In the same way your personal checking account allows you to deposit checks and cash, your new merchant account will allow you to deposit credit card and ACH funds.
4. Easy Tithe
Easy Tithe enables users to submit online transactions. It provides the Secure Sockets Layer (128 Bit SSL), the web processing application, and the reporting tools to make online tithing not only possible, but as easy as checking your email.
Easy Tithe more than paid for itself within the first month of offering online giving. On top of that, our giving has continued to significantly increase month over month!
I'm not even a technical person, and I found setting up online giving with Easy Tithe to be very quick and easy.
If every church knew about this (Easy Tithe), every church would be signing up!
